FAQ

We know that many of our patients have questions about their dental care, so you probably do, too. Below we’ve included a list of common Lenexa dental questions along with their answers. If you have a different question or if you need to schedule an appointment, just call us at 913-251-9683 or schedule online, and we’ll be glad to help.

Can you help me improve my smile’s appearance?

Absolutely. Quick and painless dental bonding can cover a host of minor problems such as chips, cracks, and deep stains. We can whiten your teeth with the amazingly effective KoR teeth whitening system. And for a perfect smile that you’ll love to show off, standard and prepless dental veneers are the solution.

Do you offer dental implants?

Dental implants are replacement tooth roots that an oral surgeon can place in your jaw. While we don’t place implants here in our office, we can refer you to a trusted specialist who can. Afterward, we offer a variety of dental implant restorations to replace your missing teeth. You can get a new crown, bridge, or dentures attached to your implants that will make eating easier and give you confidence to show others a full smile. Dental implants will also help protect the strength and integrity of your jawbone, helping you avoid bone loss and potential changes in the shape of your face.

What age do you start seeing patients?

We recommend that you bring your kids to see our dentist at age 3. Your little one will receive a “happy visit” that will get them acquainted with us and with receiving dental care. We’ll give them a tour of our office, introducing them to our staff and showing them some of our instruments and equipment. Then, if they’re up for it, we’ll take a quick look in their mouth to check for any obvious problems. We may also give both you and them some tips on proper brushing and good oral hygiene.

Will you take my dental insurance?

Our office accepts and works with most dental insurance companies. The doctors are specifically contracted with Delta Premier, Cigna PPO, and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City. However, our office will submit charges for all services to your specific insurance company on your behalf. While dental insurance is a great convenience that can make it easier to get beneficial smile care, you still have the primary responsibility for making sure that your services are paid for.
