National Dental Hygienists Week is April 4-10. We love a good reason to celebrate here at Pierce & Knight Family Dentistry, and what better way than to show our appreciation for our hygienists?
Many of our hygienists have been helping patients improve their smiles and oral health for years. Take Joni, for example. She has been keeping our patients’ teeth and gums clean since 1986 – 35 years! And she’s been in the dental field even longer.
With her experience, you can rest assured that you will be kept as comfortable as possible during your cleaning. If you have sensitive gums, tell her, and she can adjust your cleaning accordingly. You’re also free to ask about sedation before your visit if going to the dentist – even for a cleaning – makes you very anxious.
Joni treats all patients with respect and dignity. She also likes to teach helpful techniques and talk to her patients about their interests. After several decades here, it’s no wonder many patients become her friend.
